| Survey Reveals Renters Wish Lists |

Offering the right amenities is one of the most important things a landlord who wants to attract good tenants can do. But location is key, according to what Apartments.com found when it surveyed tenants at the properties it represents.
When faced with choosing between two apartments with equal amenities and pricing, 52 percent said location would drive their decision.
Besides location, here are the amenities that tenants also said they wanted the most:
- Air conditioning: 81 percent
- Parking: 81 percent
- Washer and dryer in unit: 54 percent
- High-speed Internet in unit: 47 percent
- Dishwasher: 46 percent
- Elevator: 24 percent
- Pool: 21 percent
- Hardwood floors: 13 percent
- Fireplace: 5 percent
